The highest natural point in Brooklyn, at roughly 216 feet, inside Green-Wood Cemetery. Frederick Ruckstull's bronze Altar to Liberty: Minerva stands here, positioned facing the Statue of Liberty.

History

Fighting took place on the hill during the Battle of Long Island in 1776. The Minerva monument was erected in 1920.
