Green-Wood Cemetery's 25th Street gate

The cemetery's main gate, a Gothic Revival brownstone entrance with sculptured panels by John M. Moffitt depicting biblical resurrection scenes and a 106-foot clock tower between the two gateways.

History

Built between 1861 and 1865, and designated an individual New York City landmark on April 19, 1966.
