Building at 1735–1737 Webster Street

A two-storey and basement wood frame dwelling in the Stick Eastlake style, designed originally for a single family, with a square bay rising over two storeys to a crowning gable and steeple. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on 8 March 1973, reference number 73000444.
History
The San Francisco Water Department records show that this building was connected to the water system in 1876. Mr. F. Vollerni was the original owner and Mr. J. J. Volmer the second, who resided a few doors down Turk Street; there were three owners until the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency purchased the property in 1967, and all of the owners were absentee landlords. The house stood at 773 Turk Street and was moved to Block 677, Lot 2, on Webster Street.
