Campo de' Fiori lies between via dei Giubbonari and piazza della Cancelleria, on the boundary of the rioni Parione and Regola. The Sovrintendenza Capitolina describes the square as the seat of a city market.
History
The square is written here under Parione because that is where most of it falls and because the source declares the boundary itself, but it is a boundary square and neither the market nor the monument standing in it is wholly Parione's. Rione Regola has not yet been written for this corpus; when it is, this is the first entry that will be looked at again.
