Cochon
Restaurant · New Orleans, Louisiana
A Cajun restaurant at 930 Tchoupitoulas Street in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, 13.09 road miles from TPC Louisiana — the shortest of this guide's four basecamp routes. Chef Donald Link and chef and co-owner Stephen Stryjewski serve "the traditional Cajun Southern dishes he grew up with," working "with locally sourced pork, fresh produce and seafood, focusing on traditional methods," in what the restaurant calls "a rustic, yet contemporary interior of a renovated New Orleans warehouse." Its own header reads "Dine-In Reservations | Walk-Ins Welcome | Private Dining": space is held at the bar, the chef's counter and, weather permitting, the patio for walk-ins, with reservations through Resy, and groups of eight to eighteen are hosted in the Diamond Street dining room on a "Feed Me" menu. Published hours are daily, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
