Flatbush Reformed Dutch Church Complex
Historic site · Flatbush, New York
The congregation was founded in 1654 under Peter Stuyvesant's direction, and the present church was built between 1793 and 1798. The complex includes an 1853 parsonage and a 1923-24 church house, and a cemetery with grave markers dating to 1754.
History
The church was designated a New York City landmark on May 15, 1966, with its boundaries expanded on January 9, 1979, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 8, 1983.
