A park bounded by Morris Park, Haight, Van Nest and Tomlinson Avenues, named after Alfred Loreto, a police officer of 1870 Hering Avenue who was killed on July 21, 1950 while foiling an attempted kidnapping of his neighbor.

History

The park was renovated in 2012 at a cost of about $500,000. A reconstruction in 2021 and 2022, costing about $2,000,000, was followed by a reopening in April 2022.
