A working Catholic parish at 100 Diamond Street, parish office (415) 863-6259. Its own site gives Mass Monday to Friday at 8:00 a.m., a Saturday vigil at 5:00 p.m., Sunday at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., holy days at 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Thanksgiving Day at 10:00 a.m. Reconciliation is on Saturdays from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.
History
The parish site names a Commemorative Wall and Fountain and an MHR AIDS Memorial among its features. The parish is the subject of a book on the inclusion of the gay community in a Catholic parish, Donal Godfrey's Gays and Grays, published by Lexington Books in 2008.
