History
it.wikipedia records that the palace belonged to the del Monte family and then to the Medici of Florence, from whom it takes its name; that it was formerly the Ministry of Grace and Justice; and that the Società Dante Alighieri has been there since 1926 and the Italian National Commission for UNESCO since 1950.
