Parco dei Daini

An enclosed quarter of Villa Borghese, named by both the Sovrintendenza Capitolina and Roma Capitale among the places of the park, planted with holm oak, bay, black poplar, red oak, hackberry, stone pine, cypress and olive. It holds the Edicola del Dace, an early twentieth-century aedicule with a Hadrianic statue of a Dacian, and the Acqua Marcia reservoir.
History
Raffaele De Vico made the small artificial lake between 1922 and 1925, with a concrete silenus at its centre, the Fontana con Sileno che versa l'acqua, also called the fountain of Atlas.
