Piazza di Santa Maria Liberatrice and the Giardino Famiglia Di Consiglio

The garden is named for the Di Consiglio family, murdered at the Fosse Ardeatine. Six of them were killed. Alessandro Portelli, in L'ordine è già stato eseguito (Rome 1999, p. 159), lists them: a boy of sixteen, one of seventeen, one of nineteen, one of twenty-one, the father, and the grandfather, Mosè, born in 1870. They were Testaccio traders, hawkers and butchers.
