Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II

The porticoed square at the centre of the rione, laid out under the 1873 master plan and built from 1880. it.wikipedia gives it as 325 by 185 metres and 60,000 square metres including the porticoes. The garden in the middle is dedicated to Nicola Calipari and reopened on 31 October 2020 after twenty months of works; three separate things stand inside it, the Severan nymphaeum called the Trofei di Mario, the Porta Alchemica, and Mario Rutelli's fountain of 1911.
