Ponte della Musica-Armando Trovajoli

A bridge over the Tiber between the quartieri Della Vittoria and Flaminio, slung between lungotevere Flaminio and lungotevere Maresciallo Cadorna; it lies in both quartieri. Steel and reinforced concrete, 22 metres wide, it carries cycles, pedestrians and public transport, and no other traffic.
History
A bridge here was already in the 1929 master plan. An international competition in 2000 was won by Buro Happold with the engineer Davood Liaghat and Kit Powell-Williams Architects; the bridge was built between 2008 and 2011 and inaugurated in May 2011 as the ponte della Musica, and was renamed for Armando Trovajoli on 30 May 2013.
