A lost place with a surviving fountain. it.wikipedia describes the Porto di Ripetta as a river landing on the Tiber in the area in front of the church of San Girolamo dei Croati. The landing was demolished at the end of the nineteenth century; the fountain that served it remains.
History
Roma Capitale's Sovrintendenza names the port alongside the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain as urban works of the same century. it.wikipedia's history of the rione records that the site of the port was later covered by Ponte Cavour, built in 1902 downstream of it.
