Sant'Agnese in Agone
Historic site · Parione, Italy
The church on the west side of Piazza Navona, dedicated to St Agnes on the traditional site of her martyrdom. it.wikipedia attributes the building to Carlo Rainaldi and Francesco Borromini; this guide attributes rather than states it.
History
The parish keeps a live website of its own, which is what establishes the church's identity, its location and the functions held in it, and which publishes its opening times. The parish also sets out a restoration programme in the crypt — that is the parish's own statement about its own building, and it is published here as such.
