Teatro Tordinona
Theater · Ponte, Italy
A working theatre on via degli Acquasparta, also called the Sala Pirandello. No source states its programme or its opening times, so none are given here.
History
it.wikipedia records that the theatre carries the name of the Teatro Apollo-Tordinona, demolished in 1888, which arose in 1670 at the wish of Christina of Sweden. She asked her secretary, Count Giacomo d'Alibert, to obtain from Clement IX a building formerly Orsini property on what is now lungotevere Tor di Nona, which had been used as a prison until 1657.
