A temple to Venus Felix and Roma Aeterna which it.wikipedia describes as occupying the whole space between the Basilica of Maxentius and the Colosseum. it.wikipedia names the emperor Hadrian himself as its architect and dates it begun in 121, inaugurated in 135 and finished in 141 under Antoninus Pius.
History
it.wikipedia says the site had previously held the atrium of Nero's Domus Aurea and the colossus, and repeats the classical anecdote that the colossus was moved with the help of twenty-four elephants.
