The Hotchkiss-Fyler House, an 1897-1900 Queen Anne Victorian mansion bequeathed to the society in 1956, offers guided tours on the hour; next door, the Torrington History Museum's free "No Place Like Home" exhibit traces the city's story, including a restored 1930s machine shop. Both open seasonally April 15-October 31, Thursday-Saturday. House tour $10; museum free.
