Palazzo Chigi-Odescalchi
Historic site · Trevi, Italy
A palace on Piazza dei Santi Apostoli, in Trevi. It is not the Palazzo Chigi on Piazza Colonna, which is in rione Colonna; the names are close enough to send a visitor to the wrong building.
History
The Italian Wikipedia article records that the palace was originally Colonna property, was sold to the Ludovisi in 1622 and bought back; that it was ceded in usufruct to Cardinal Flavio Chigi in 1661 and transformed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini around 1665; and that it passed to Prince Baldassare Odescalchi in 1745.
