A wooded valley in the northern part of Villa Borghese, planted with oriental plane, lime, common and black walnut, catalpa, albizia, hackberry, red and pedunculate oak, sweet chestnut, box elder, black locust, horse chestnut and Judas tree.
History
The Sovrintendenza Capitolina records that the ground was brought into the villa under Giovanni Vasanzio, together with the land the Bioparco now occupies, to make a barco for hunting.
