Villino Macchi di Cellere

Historic site · Prati, Italy

A detached house at the corner of via Marcantonio Colonna, with 1904 carved on the viale Giulio Cesare façade. It began as a three-storey main block on the viale with a secondary block on via Marcantonio Colonna crowned by a square turret; a floor was later added to both.

History

Italian Wikipedia credits the house to Garibaldi Burba, the same architect as the Villino Cagiati, and records that it was built in 1904 for the diplomat Vincenzo Macchi di Cellere.
