Alisson's Restaurant

A family-run restaurant at 11 Dock Square, 1.18 road miles from Cape Arundel's first tee, and the one business in this guide with a positive year-round statement from its operator: "Located in the center of Dock Square, Alisson's has been a Kennebunkport tradition since 1973. Serving lunch & dinner with a full bar, every day, year-round." Hours: "Open Every Day — Lunch 11am-4pm, Dinner 4pm-9pm, Full Bar Open Later," and "We do not accept reservations" — a wait-list form is offered instead. It began in November 1973 when Beatrice and Francis "B & Fran" Condon bought the former Smith's Market and Chat & Chew Restaurant, stayed "a cozy 35-seat restaurant until 1984," and now runs with a 50-seat dining room upstairs, a fourth generation of the family on the team and 26 local craft beers on tap.
