A lobster shack at 9 Mills Road in the Cape Porpoise village, 3.32 road miles from Cape Arundel's first tee by way of ME 9, and the only business in this guide that publishes fully dated season boundaries: "We are open for the season May 21st, 2026 through October 17th, 2026. We are open at 5 p.m 7 nights a week." It is shut for roughly seven months of the year. "We are celebrating our 73rd year… Our lobster dinners are served the same way they were in 1953. Fresh, locally caught lobster, cooked to order, no frills, simple and delicious." Terms the operator states plainly: "No Reservations - No Credit/Debit Cards. Personal Checks Accepted With Valid Identification. ATM Available."
