Casino del Graziano

A three-storey casino on viale del Giardino Zoologico, at the edge of the Valle dei Platani, the third floor a loggia room. Inside its enclosure wall are two square courtyards, each with a rockwork fountain, and the ground floor carries sixteenth-century grotesque decoration including a Rape of Europa in the manner of Prospero Fontana.
History
It was built in the sixteenth century for one Stefano Graziani. Cardinal Borghese bought it in 1616 meaning to show pictures and statues in it, but used it mainly as a place of pleasure and rest after hunting.
