The Cherry Red Records Stadium is the home of AFC Wimbledon on Plough Lane, SW17 0NR. It opened on 3 November 2020 with a capacity of 9,215 and planning permission to expand to 20,000. AFC Wimbledon Women have played here since 2021, London Broncos rugby league since 2022, and London Warriors and selected Chelsea Women matches since 2026.

History

The ground brought AFC Wimbledon back to Plough Lane after the original Wimbledon FC left for Milton Keynes and the supporter-formed club played at Kingsmeadow from 2002. Merton Council approved the plans unanimously on 10 December 2015, site clearance began on 16 March 2018 and the build cost £34 million. The first match was a 2–2 draw with Doncaster Rovers, the first goal scored by Joe Pigott in the 18th minute. The nearest station is Haydons Road on Thameslink, 648 m away, then Wimbledon Park on the District line at 1,032 m and Tooting Broadway on the Northern line at 1,279 m; route 493 stops 67 m from the ground.
