The ruined hall at the west of the Area Sacra di Largo Argentina is identified as the Curia of Pompey.
History
it.wikipedia records the tradition that Julius Caesar was killed there in 44 BC; Roma Capitale's own account of the Area Sacra does not mention it. This record reports the tradition and its source rather than asserting it.
