Chiesa di San Gregorio Barbarigo

A parish church of entirely prefabricated concrete panels, raised on a terrace on pilotis, circular in plan, with a tall iron bell tower and a forecourt cross, lit through a red central skylight and clerestory windows. No source states its opening hours, so none are given here.

History

Giuseppe Vaccaro built it between 1970 and 1972 for the parish erected on 28 January 1964. The altarpiece behind the presbytery is a work of 15 by 5 m by Piero Casentini, made in 2007 and 2008; the organ is by Fratelli Ruffatti, 1998, with 14 stops and fully mechanical action. There is a crypt below.
