Museo della Via Ostiense

A museum inside Porta San Paolo, at Via Raffaele Persichetti 3. The Sovrintendenza Capitolina states that it occupies the Castelletto, the counter-gate built like a small fortification by Maxentius at the start of the fourth century AD, that it is run by the Soprintendenza Speciale di Roma, and that it displays reconstructions of the ports of Ostia and of monuments found along the via Ostiensis. No source states its opening hours, so none are given here.
