History
Historic England first listed the Great Hall on 29 January 1951 and amended the entry on 11 June 2025, splitting the palace into eight separate Grade I entries: the Great Hall (NHLE 1079296), the Chapel (1493512), the great chamber and undercroft range (1493514), the southern range including the long gallery (1493515), the western range (1493516), the east range of the north court (1493517), the east range of the south court (1493518) and the west range of the south court (1493519). Those eight account for eight of the fourteen Grade I entries in the borough. Wikidata records the site as Croydon Palace.
