Palazzo Alberini
Historic site · Ponte, Italy
A Renaissance palace in the Banchi, also known as Palazzo Cicciaporci. Its present facade is nineteenth-century.
History
it.wikipedia records that the palace was built for Giulio Alberini between 1515 and 1519 and completed in 1521 by Pietro Rosselli. Its design is not settled: the article attributes it to Raphael, notes that Vasari says Giulio Romano designed it for him, and attributes the ground floor to Bramante, possibly in 1512.
