Historic site · Ponte, Italy
A Mannerist palace at the corner of via degli Orsini, facing piazza dell'Orologio. It is also known as Palazzo Scarinci.
History
it.wikipedia records that in 1582 Salomon Corcos, educated by the Oratorians, converted and took the name of the reigning pope, Ugo Boncompagni, Gregory XIII, and that the family was then able to build this palace in the seventeenth century. It later belonged to the Scarinci and to the Camerata.
