Piazza Cavour
Historic site · Prati, Italy
A square running to via Triboniano, with a planted garden in the middle and the Palazzo di Giustizia along one side. Roma Capitale's register names the streets meeting it: via Crescenzio, via Cicerone, via Tacito, via Lucrezio Caro, via Ulpiano and via Triboniano.
History
Roma Capitale's toponymy register records the square under an attribution of 8 May 1885, by Prop. al CC n. 96, with the note R. PRATI. The Sovrintendenza Capitolina, Roma Capitale's own heritage office, states that the central garden was laid out between 1895 and 1911 by Nicodemo Severi. The Waldensian temple and the Cinema Adriano both stand on the square.
