The houses on the north side of the street back onto Macondray Lane. History

The name Paris Block appears in print no earlier than 1964. The nomination suggests it refers to the Bos Apartments at 1050 Green Street, built in 1891 to a design by the Beaux-Arts-trained architect Lewis P. Hobart. The Feusier Octagon House at 1067 Green Street stands inside the boundary.
