Article 16 provides that the buildings it names will never be subject to liens or to expropriation for reasons of public utility save by previous agreement with the Holy See, and will be exempt from taxes, whether ordinary or extraordinary. The Treaty's Article 15, which grants the immunities of the headquarters of diplomatic agents of foreign States, applies to a different list of properties and does not name this one.
