The bridge from piazza Pasquale Paoli to lungotevere Vaticano, carrying road traffic toward the Vatican side. It lies in two rioni, Ponte and Borgo. it.wikipedia records that its official name has been Ponte Vittorio Emanuele Secondo since 2015.

History

it.wikipedia records that Ennio De Rossi designed the bridge in 1886, that it was named before it was built, and that work was interrupted and resumed in 1908. Roma Capitale records that it was first inaugurated on 5 June 1911, for the fiftieth anniversary of Italian unification, and inaugurated again on 28 April 1912, when the sculptural groups were finally placed.
