Redwood Memorial Grove and Doughboy Meadow

A grove of 37 redwood trees, one for each fallen member, north of John F. Kennedy Drive near 16th Avenue, with the Doughboy standing in the meadow: a bronze by M. Earl Cummings of a hatless male figure holding a wreath to his chest, flanked by two wood flag poles.

History

The grove was planted in 1930.
