Chiesa di Sant'Isidoro a Capo le Case

Italian Wikipedia credits the fabric to Antonio Felice Casoni and then Domenico Castelli, with the façade, its portico and its double flight of steps by Carlo Francesco Bizzaccheri in 1704-1705. Inside are works by Carlo Maratta, including an Immacolata Concezione in the De Sylva chapel whose picture frame was designed by Bernini; the chapel itself was remodelled to Bernini's design, and the funerary monuments in it are by his son Paolo Valentino Bernini. Andrea Sacchi painted the high altarpiece. There are two cloisters: the small one is by Casoni, in 1626, and the second is named for Luke Wadding. Italian Wikipedia records that the convent housed the Nazarenes, the proto-Romantic and mostly German painters, some of them resident between 1810 and Pius VII's return in 1814, and that via degli Artisti takes its name from them.

One honest note on where this church is. Italian Wikipedia files it under its Ludovisi churches category, which is why this guide carries it. But the streets it stands on are the boundary with Colonna, and Armellini's Le chiese di Roma dal secolo IV al XIX of 1891, which Italian Wikipedia links in its own bibliography for the church, filed it under rione Colonna. The modern evidence decides it here; the older evidence is recorded rather than hidden. No source gives an official website for this church, and santisidoro.org belongs to a different organisation, a cultural association in Marano di Napoli.
