Tempio valdese di piazza Cavour

Italian Wikipedia records that the land was bought in 1910 for the Chiesa evangelica valdese by the American Emma Baker, widow of John Stewart Kennedy; that a competition held that year, entered by Arturo Pazzi, by Emanuele Rutelli with Paolo Bonci and by the Turin studio Charbonnet e Cougn, was judged unsatisfactory and rejected ex aequo; and that in January 1911 the commission went to Rutelli and Bonci. The same article dates the building from June 1911 to 1913, credits the interior decoration to Paolo Paschetto and the reinforced-concrete structure to Giovanni Antonio Porcheddu's firm, and gives the inauguration, with a solemn service, as 8 February 1914.
