The planetarium and museum of astronomy, sharing its building with the Museo della Civilta Romana. The dome is 14 m across and the room seats 98. It opens Tuesday to Sunday 9.30 to 21.30, with shows at 18.00, 19.00 and 21.30 and last entry an hour before closing, and 10.00 to 14.00 on 24 and 31 December; it is closed on Mondays, 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. The ticket office and bookshop keep winter hours of 9.30 to 18.00, Tuesday to Sunday. Roma Capitale's call centre for it is 060608, daily 9.00 to 19.00.
History
The planetarium has been back in operation since 22 April 2022, after works on its technology. It is part of the Sistema Musei di Roma Capitale, so the MIC card applies.
