History
The market entrance arch is Grade II listed, NHLE 1358951, listed on 8 June 1973 and named simply MARKET ENTRANCE on the National Heritage List, at TQ 38326 77758. The terraces around it carry their own Grade II entries: 9-21 College Approach, NHLE 1358952, 2-5 College Approach, NHLE 1079030, and 8A and 8B College Approach, NHLE 1079033. The Admiral Hardy public house on the market's edge is Grade II, NHLE 1079032, and the Coach and Horses NHLE 1214365.
