A municipal theatre inside the ex Colonia marina complex, and one of the four venues in Roma Capitale's Teatri in Comune circuit, with the Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo, the Teatro Tor Bella Monaca and the Teatro Villa Pamphilj. Its season is published through Teatri in Comune rather than as a standing timetable.
History
It is a teatro di cintura, a category defined by the Legge regionale 15 settembre 2005 n. 16 for theatres in the outer districts of a city. it.wikipedia records that local artists started the theatre in 1997, that restoration began in 2000, that the new venue was inaugurated in February 2003, that it closed in June 2008, and that on 26 February 2010 a committee reoccupied it, after which it reopened under an agreement.
